Save the Prayerbook of Mary of Guelders

Prof Johan Oosterman of Radboud University at Nijmegen has set up a crowdfunding project to collect 25,000 Euro (out of an estimated sum of – well, much much more) in order to start the restauration and conservation of the famous prayer book of Mary of Guelders, one of the undisputed highlights of the Staatsbibliothek in Berlin.

An astonishing amount of money has already been given, but the manuscript is so badly damaged that the 25,000 euro Oosterman and his colleagues are aiming for can only be the beginning.
